Our Programs

DHAA operates a senior community center in Brooklyn that provides daily meals, social activities, and cultural programming for older adults in our community. The center offers a welcoming space where seniors can connect, participate in recreational activities, and remain actively engaged both socially and intellectually. We believe that preserving culture begins with honoring the generation that carried it forward.

Each year, DHAA organizes college exposure trips for local high school students. With an average group of approximately 20 students, these visits provide firsthand insight into college life and future academic opportunities. In addition to campus visits, DHAA offers scholarship support to help students pursue higher education. By investing in education, we invest in the future of our community.

Through our food distribution efforts, DHAA provides assistance to community members in need. Our goal is simple: ensure that families have access to essential food resources while maintaining respect, dignity, and community connection. Food support is more than a service — it is a commitment to standing with our neighbors during times of hardship.
